Bertempat di ruang Birawa, hotel Bumikarsa, Jakarta digelar pameran industri dan jasa pendukung sub sektor pertambangan. Selain pameran yang berlangsung dari hari Senin (10/9 – 07) hingga Rabu (12/9 – 07) juga diadakan seminar bertema ‘Peningkatan Produksi Dalam Negeri Pendukung Usaha Pertambangan’.  Kegiatan yang diselenggarakan oleh Direktorat Jenderal Mineral, Batubara dan Panasbumi ini diikuti puluhan peserta, dan mendapat dukungan sejumlah industri pertambangan di tanah air, antara lain PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara, PT Freeport Indonesia, PT Kideco Jaya Agung, PT Arutmin Indonesia, PT KPC dan PT Inco.

Peserta pameran yang amat beragam menempati stand-stand yang disiapkan panitia, antara lain dari penyelenggara jasa konsultasi, survey dan inspection seperti PT Sucofindo dan Carsurin, PT Geoserivice dan PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia serta INKINDO.

Industri perlengkapan keselamatan kerja seperti PT Grandshoe Industri, PT Solusi Saftey Indonesia, PT Jaly Indonesia Utama. Industri jasa angkutan batubara seperti PT Mandiri Abadi Maritim, jasa kontraktor batubara seperti PT Alasa Watu Utama.

Tampak pula dari kalangan industri alat berat dan baja seperti PT Pindad, PT Katsushiro Indonesia, Bakrie Pipe Industries, Gunung Steel Group, Asosiasi Industri Alat Besar Indonesia (HINABI), Elhifa perusahaan pemasok rantai dan kabel baja, hingga perusahaan pembuat conveyor untuk pertambangan.

Selain itu terdapat perusahaan yang menyediakan kebutuhan pembukaan areal pertambangan semacam detonator, perusahaan pengolah limbah pertambangan yaitu Prasadha Pamunah Limbah Industri. Sedang dari instansi pemerintahan tampak ikut berpameran adalah Pusat Sumber Daya Geologi dan Tekmira.

Pada hari pertama acara tersebut diisi dengan paparan enam perusahaan pendukung utama yaitu Newmont, Freeport, Kideco, KPC, Arutmin dan Kideca Jaya Agung. Sejumlah undangan dari kalangan pelaku pertambangan tampak hadir mengikuti acara yang digelar di hampir menyatu dengan stand pameran.
